Week 3:
Yeah done with field camp finally! those 6 days were not easy i swear....imagine chemo-ing our faces,not bathing for 6 days, rolling ourselves on mud and sand and feeding mosquitoes blah blah all kind of shit! started off with a 8km route march in the rain followed by building basah tents, getting punished, rolling on mud, learning all kinds of basic soldier survival skills in jungle and more. 3rd day started digging shellscrape accompanied by a planned tekan session just to make us tear.lame shit! last few days were situational test to see if we have potential to enter command school! those days were over at last and I am proud to survive through!

Week 4:
Quite a slack week! had hand grenade test and urban operation...okay lah except for the long waiting time! the only shiong one is the 12km route march today! kinda tiring but still got to hang in there cos its book out after that! woohoo! how well if my company can book out on thurs everyday!! and at last, 3 more weeks and I can fuck off from tekong!! cant wait for the day to arrive man!

BMT week 2:

Finally week 2 has passed! made a few stupid mistakes during my live range which i did not wish to talk about but still managed to get marksman! nothing to boast about cos almost the company obtained marksman! can only do so if i get company best shot haha! had IFC after that..learnt to put "makeup" on our face, crawled, rolled on the muddy grass, camouflaged ourselves behind the trees blah blah! super long week next week cos of field camp! definitely not something that everyone is looking forward to! and not forgetting that I brought a centipede back lol! think field camp more weird insects or even cobras may follow me home too! x0

BMT week 1:

Not much physical activities this week but it was the longest week so far cos of guard duty! Was assigned to guard ammo dump...a screwed up place! Worst of all was that I met with a strange encounter during the 8 to 10pm shift! a white figure stood beside me FML! oh well anyway its over and i wont let this rule my mind!
Ippt cat test on wed and i nearly failed my freaking shuttle run! dunno wat happened to me, maybe cos my mind was kinda shut off! Had my SOC test with SBO and am glad that I managed to clear all! dunno whether i can do that with my rifle the next test. Lastly had my IMT today and achieved marksman! 30/32! hopefully I can get this score during my live range next week.

Hello blogger! Wow it has been more than a year since I last touched you and I see that dust has accumulated on you! lol alright straight to the point now! Have been rather bored so decided to log in to do some "area cleaning"!

14th sept 10 to 28th jan 11:
This period of my life marked my internship at ICES. It was an enjoyable and enriching experience where I had loads of fun and also gained much knowledge about research. I was assigned a project on fermentation of ethanol and lactic acid in a novel bioreactor and was guided by Dr Wu, a nice supervisor and my mentor Sze min! Also, I made a few friends(Sabri,Kok quan,Joshua,Siti,Fidah,Sacchi,Yan ling,Jenny and many more) where we had fun in the computer lab.Played hearts,taidi,bridge and many interesting games! Took many photos on the last day of internship! Last time used to find ICES boring but now thinking back, I sort of missed working or should I say the fun at ICES! How ironically!

11th Feb :
End of internship and it was the time to submit report and poster presentation! It was kinda rush cos I did not really prepare much for it. Got a B for my internship and MP and got a cgpa of 2.94! Kinda disappointing cos it lower my chances of entering a local uni but whats done cannot be undone! gotta look ahead and plan my next step now!

Mar 11 to Apr 11:
Its the end of my poly life and I have found a job as a telemarketer at toa payoh! Got this job in a newspaper and I was employed! Was a boring job cos I got to keep calling ppl and repeating the same phrases over and over again for several hours! sometimes suay then will kena scolded! Worked with Ming hao and also made a few friends there(Jovin,dedrick,jing yi,apple,wendy). Had fun with them cos we always talk cock when we r bored. Worked for like 1 month then quit the job le!

May 11 to Jul 11:
Officially the end of poly life! Supposed to attend the graduation ceremony but had work at NTUC learning Hub at redhill! Got this admin job from Jee Hou...a 9 to 6 job where I had to do data entry and mail certs out! A boring job which I stayed on for 2 months!

7th Sept onwards:
Officially a recruit now! got to serve the nation for 2 years! Went through PTP at tekong and was confined for the first 2 weeks! First few days were very messy! a lot of things to do at a fast pace! Recently had my iipt and got a silver for it! was kinda glad about it and hope to maintain that standard so that I can get my $100! Oh well, PTP has ended last friday(4th nov) and its BMT now! more shiong than ptp so had to be mentally prepared for it, especially field camp! 2 weeks of BMT before POP lo!!

Time flies very fast and in a blink of an eye,I gonna start my SIP next tuesday and graduate after that.Alright I will update on SIP first. The result of my SIP placing totally screwed my day cos it is at Jurong island(ICES).Its damn far and got to catch the first bus everyday.Also,I heard the canteen there is worst than TP's one.Imagine that! TP's canteen is already not fantastic(in my opinion) and I have got to have lunch at a canteen that is worst for the next 5 months.Haix:(
Enough of SIP! Its the exam period now and just had BPT exam yesterday.It was kinda easy one cos some of the questions are exactly the same as the ones in notes(calculation qns) and the theory questions are straightforward too.Hopefully I can get an A for this subject and I will be damn glad:D However thats not the case for LAST lah...i kinda screwed up that paper and I just hope for at least a C grade for that subject.Not much not less. Now I am left with Rtec exam next monday before the end of all written exams.Hope that the Rtec paper is an easy one! Aiming for at least a B for this subject to pull my pathetic cGPA up.

Woke up early yesterday to attend NUS openhouse with jeremy.Met him at Dover mrt station then headed to nus openhouse.Walked round asking lots of questions about the courses and attended talks also.freaking boring sia the talks...

Just came back from slacking with the usuals...was outside the whole day
Woke up early in the morning to attend some OSH seminar talk at tp that lasted for 1hr+.After which,met up with minghao and his friends to play lan at Tampines mart.Then had lunch with jeremy and jonathan at tm and walked round.Apparantly,we had nowhere to walk after walking abt at Tampines 1 so decided to slack and chat at nearby void decks.Had a long chat with jeremy talking abt his NS life and dunno wat christian stuff...encouraging us to become christians and frequent church. Well,that failed to change our mind.Dinner after that then me and jonathan went to safra intending to play pool but it turned out that it was too crowded and we got to wait for approximately an 1hr or so before our turn zzz...so decided to head back to hougang.Fucking wasted our time travelling to tampines safra! Went back to hougang and slacked and sterned with weijie then homed.

There was a change of plan ytd.Did not ton at zech house cos wei yong is sick. Instead,I met jonathan and weijie at hougang mrt station b4 heading to vivo city to witness the countdown party.It was still early when we reached there so slacked,chatted and busy looking for eye candies while waiting for the clock to strike 11pm+. Went up to watch the vivo countdown party...was damn crowded la,can only keep moving and there was no chance of turning back.After the countdown,met willie,kienan and erasmus and slacked again with a bottle of bacardi.I was quite weak la,drank like half bottle then face turned red like fuck.But I was not drunk.Headed back home cos I am broke while the others went to play pool at hougang plaza.

Today's the last day of year 2009.Tot theres no school but i was wrong.We had lessons till 2pm! Damn! Headed to willie house to slack after that,did not know what to do and it was a 100%boring afternoon.Regarding the plan later, we wanted to go vivo to countdown later but decided not to cos we did not want to brush with the crowds.Decided to go zech house tonight to countdown and ton with alcohol at his house:D

Just came back from soccer.Today's a sports day for me...had badminton competition in the morning and soccer in the evening.
Starting off with the badminton competition,my first opponent today was last year's champion who is well known for his smashes.As expected,I lost the game but was quite satisfied with my scores(21-9,21-11).I expected a score as low as (21-0,21-1,21-2).Overall,it was a fantastic match,especially the match to compete for gold medal.The "feel" to play badminton in me has also revived and am looking for people who are interested to have a game.Interested ppl can contact or tag me!

Lost the first round(15-4,15-2) and won the next 2 rounds(15-3,15-5)(15-3,15-3)

Today marks the end of DRP.I have mixed feelings for it.On one hand,I do not want it to end this fast as DRP is so fun and interesting but on the other hand,I dun wanna wake up so early everyday and wanna enjoy my last week of holiday before school resumes.Anyway,I had much fun at DRP and I got to know a number of friends there too.We played many lame games while incubating our samples.Some of the games played included the weird number game,fuzzy wuzzy,the light,black magic and many more which I sucked at. I had a hard time figuring out these games and Marianne or Mary did not want to tell me:(
To end the DRP well, we had a few shots taken....all uploaded onto fb:) Do check them out,they are nice! Alright,now I have to dread the start of a new semester.......:-(

Sianz...today is the first day of DRP(Differential Research Programme) and got to wake up early and the worst thing is I got to do so for 2weeks!!! Fark this holiday is meant for me to slp and wake up late. Anyway, today is the start of DRP. My DRP topic involves identifying proteins released by Aedes mosquitoes larvae that were bred for some time in the research centre. I was quite nervous cos it is the first time I am taking up this programme and also my first time working in research centre which has a lot of rules to abide to.
Basically, my group started off with acetone precipitation of proteins followed by Bradford Protein Assay to determine the concentration of proteins.After which, the concentration were measured and the graph was plotted.That was all we have done so far for today. I thought I can go home by 3pm but still got to stay back to do the sickening logbook and helped to dispose the waste.This logbook took us more than an hour and dragged it to 6pm before we were released. It will be more stressful tomorrow cos there are lots to work on.Hopefully, we can finish everything fast and end early tomorrow.

The rate is very ex cos its a weekend but no choice la...nothing to do also and somemore nvr play for a long time le.Then went to play L4d when Zech reached. It has been a long time since I played L4d.Forgot how to pick up items and walk le.

Have not been blogging for a few weeks already so decided to update it to keep it going. Alright here's a summary of what I have done over the past few days....

17th of Sept:
Received news from tuition agency that I have been assigned to teach primary 2
English and Maths.I was quite glad initially as if this were the case,I would be
occupied throughout the holidays and able to earn extra income too.But sadly it did
not turn out this way because I decided to reject the offer due to some reasons.The
tuition fees is low...$110 to teach twice per wk and 1.5 hr per lesson.Damn low la
Another reason is the parent is unorganized.I have problems following her
timetable.Therefore, i decided not to take up this assignment.I shall wait for a
better one to appear.

22th of Sept:
Woke up in the afternoon cos was very tired. Then went to gym with Jeremy and
Willie. Gymed for 1hr+ then headed for lunch nearby then homed after that.
Slacked at home after that,played facebook and music throughout the day.Quite
sianz;(

23th of Sept: As usual,slacked the whole afternoon.Played com,listened to music and walked
round my house looking for ants and cockroaches.Then met Minghao,Jeremy,
Weijie and Jonathan for pizza at hougang mall at night. Not bad la, ate quite a lot..
didn't know that Jeremy is a big eater...ordered pizza still not enough,still need to
order pasta and side dishes.Then homed after that and on top of that,it was
Willie's 18th bday too. Finally 18 le...can smoke and gamble already lol jkjk

24th of Sept:
Woke up in the morning cos I need to go back to school for DRP briefing which
lasted for 1hr.Will be busy next week onwards as I am going to start my drp on
Monday.After the briefing,I lunched with Wai Eng and Ming Hao at macs then
headed to Hougang Mall to purchase something precious...haha not saying.
After that went to gym with Jeremy,Minghao,Zech and Jonathan followed
by soccer.After soccer,we went for dinner at Hougang point then slacked at void
deck to play cards before heading home. Thats all about it....looking for ppl to gym
and mahjong and badminton...Shall end my post here cya then

Time has passed so fast that i did not realise that my blog had accumulated dust for 1 month ++.
Now its time to clean up the dust and update it alr.Many things happened during this period of time.Firstly,Ismail(classmate and friend) was down with the H1N1 virus and our class was quarantined for one day nia.Wa lao eh....i tot can have 1 wk of break:( To add on to it,he had a brain concussion recently and he forgot his poly stuff.I hope he will recover and regain his memory soon.
Secondly,we went to changi airport t3 to last sat to celebrate both wai eng and akmal bday.Their bday was celebrated with cakes and cupcakes that were baked by lisa.Great job man!! On top of that, i bought a soft toy dog for wai eng and a backpack for akmal.Hope that both of them will like it.Today is akmal's actual bday so i wanna wish him happy 21st bday here.
Projects,assignments,tests,exams and many more are starting to surface.I can expect the workload to increase till the end of the semester exam.Hope i will do well for my sem exams and get a good gpa.

Happy 18th Bday to me!
In a blink of an eye,18 years has passed and very soon,I will have to serve NS and then work.
At the struck of 12am today,my sister gave me the very first bday present which is a shirt.Its damn nice and love it very much...thx a lot:)
Woke up this afternoon to find my bday cake on the dining table.We decided to make the celebration simple by ordering pizza for lunch and bday cake only.
After which,i slacked at home till evening then went to meet friends for steamboat at amk.It was very filling and worth it as $15 is all u need for you to eat till drop dead.Theres free flow of drinks,food and ice cream too although the ice cream sux a lot.
Wanted to catch a movie after tt but I had to limit my expenses so decided not to.
Besides that,I wanna wish eunice happy 18th bday too:)

It has been exactly a month since I last blogged.Lotsa things happened during this one whole month and I am too lazy to recall and blog every event out.This semester is going to be a tough and heavy one.Theres lots of topics and subjects and none of the subjects is easy:(
Molecular genetics,Biochemistry 2,Applied Immunology,Pathology,Plant cell technology.....sianzzzzzz
Juz had a few quizzes a few days ago....was kinda disappointing cos I failed mol gens quiz 1.Fpath quiz was another one.The paper was all structured questions and total marks 50 and we were expected to complete it in 40mins!!! WTH
Basically,things are not going to be easy for this semester.Gonna pray hard that I will clear this semester and move on.
Good news: No school for me tmr....yeah!!!

Its 4.50am now.I shld be sleeping by this time but i could not do so as my mind will be filled with the heartbreaking news which i dun feel like saying out.Anyway,all i can do now is to treat this as part and parcel of life and move on to accomplish other more impt things.
School is going to start next mon....omg i will be busy with all the shitty things and my timetable sux too.Lessons start from 9 to 6 everyday except for tues and thurs which end in the noon.zzZZ
Thinking back,I felt i have wasted my holiday.I did not manage to find a job,visit the gym very rarely,did not pick up any skills and much more.Spent most of the time going out n slackin with friends.This is crap man! I will definitely miss this holiday.

Played cards,bbqed,drunk like fuck and did many other stupid things which i am too lazy to list out.

Nothing much today....stayed at home today.Lunch-ed at akmal's house with wai eng and kannan yesterday.The lunch was great,rice accompanied with curry and sambal chicken and dessert.Thanks for the lunch bro:)
Slacked a while at his house b4 heading home cos wei yong had to come to my house to print some stuff.After that met up with them again for dinner at chomp chomp,slacked after dinner b4 going home.Okies...enuff of yesterday and today.....planning to gym and cycle tmr,anyone on?sms me if u want.

Its qingming day today.We started off by heading to cousin's house to gather and helped out with the things.After which,we went to choa chu kang cemetry to pray ah gong.Fortunately,there were fewer traffic jams and the weather was nice this year as compared to last year.Prayed ah ma and uncle after that.Lunched at NUS guildhouse then proceeded to bukit brown hill to pray ancestors.After everything went back to cousin house to wash up

I am quite free this holiday.Nothing much to do except cooping myself at home or hanging out with friends.All of these owed to the unsuccessful finding of job.Due to boredom,I played soccer in the evening since I have not touched soccer for some time already.It was jogging after that which totally sux.....a couple of rounds only and I am dead tired.
Besides the above,I came across in the newspaper that scientists have invented a laser named "Weapon Of Mosquitoes Destruction" or WMD.
The laser aims at mosquitoes that are capable of spreading diseases.The beating of their wings will trigger off the laser to burn their wings and kills them.I think its quite a smart and cool way of destroying these irritating and dangerous insects.

Nothing to do in the morning....jio-ed by willie for a swim at carlson place.So,I met up with dzul b4 heading to the bus stop opposite xinmin pri to meet willie.We walked to carlson place cos we missed the bus.It was quite a worth as we arrived at his house before the next bus arrived.We started off by playing bball at his house then stopped due to the rain and lightning.We joined carlson and erasmus for squash while waiting for the rain to stop.Went to swim when the rain stopped.After all the activities,we went for dinner at the nearby hawker centre before heading home.As it was still early,I went to willie house to slack,surf net and talked before going home.
On top of that, I juz found out something which really pissed me off,totally PISSED me off!!!
This fucker used my name to post something on some website.This is totally stupid.I wonder whos the "smart" person who did this.I really wanna know who he is as I want to "thank" him for doing so.But one thing for sure is that I know him and he knows me well too.I have someone in mind now but I dun wanna announce his name.All I can say is he plays friendster.I hope I am wrong cos if thats not the case,this will mark an end to our friendship.

Slept till 1pm then woke up.Went Hg point to cut my hair...much nicer now i think:)

Rot at home till evening b4 meeting up with zech,wei yong,shane and loke for dinner at amk hub. Slacked n played cards at void deck b4 going to zech house.Then prata-ed at jalan kayu and ate until fat fat.Walked home from there after that...shiok man i love the dark and peace while walking home:)

Then slacked again at the bus stop looking at the vehicles travelling past...the drivers looked at us with the surprised faces luh haha...took some pictures then homed.

Today's a workout day for me.Gymed with willie this noon...long time nvr gym alr i can feel my muscles aching now.Lunched after that then headed to kienan's house to get bball for some bball game.I wanna grow tall!Zzz...not in top form today,played like shit haiz:( wanted to play soccer also but decided not to cos i am worn out.
Besides that,i have tot of the things that I want to do this holiday.Firstly,I want to find a job to earn more $$.Secondly,I want to gym more often to train my fitness and lose weight at the same time.I want to grow stronger and dun wanna grow fat.I want to visit the library more often to gain more knowledge too.I hope i will do it haha

Woohoo!! no school today cos most of the lectures and tutorials have ended alr.Had prata with wai eng at Thomson this afternoon then walked thomson plaza after that.Headed home after that....eat,sleep,slack,tv all the way till dinner time...pro right? haha
Sianz....this thurs have cell bio retest and have water tech test next mon.Exams are arriving in 2 wks time and I am not prepared for it:(
It has been quite some time since I visit the gym.I can feel that my muscles are degenerating and fats accumulating in my body.Looks like its time for me to work out at the gym

Had been busy for the past few days...Bmic practical test on wed,cell biology quiz on thurs and csas presentation today.Talking about bmic practical test,I felt very depressed about it cos i gonna screw it up.Could not focus the microscope and screwed up the spread plate test too:(
Cell bio test was still all right.Not confident of getting an A for it cos I forgot how to do some of the questions,just hope that i will be able to pass it only.Had my csas presentation today...got to wear formal attire to present in front of the lt zzz....finally got over with it alr
But one bad news is exams are approaching.I hope I will be able to clear all my subjects and move onto 2nd yr smoothly.

Saw thick smoke billowing into the sky yesterday afternoon.Was kinda curious to find out where the fire broke out so decided to locate it after dinner.Sadly,we could not find it....assuming that it was one of the flats that caught fire but our assumption was proven wrong after reading the newspaper this morning.It turned out that it was the bush that caught fire zzz...slacked at the playground with kannan,charlene and weihao b4 going to wai eng's hse to ton.Played blackjack, hearts and more at her house b4 fainting till tis morning then homed.

Jeremy will be flying back to china tmr....sad no time to meet him today.But nvr mind, I will be able to meet him in july.All the best and bon voyage to you:)

Willie and Kienan came to my house to bai nian and we played blackjack,in between,last digit and hearts...woots!! my luck changed for the better...won $15 from them lol...this the first time i win,had been losing $$ for the past few days...haha helped to win the angpao $ for my mum:)

Had maths quiz this morning....think its okay except that i screwed up the first qn:-( Lectures ended early so went to play badminton and basketball with friends.After that, i went to meet my water tech classmates to complete our project....omg!! took the whole 2hrs just to complete 2 processes only..zzzzzz....worst than tutorial lor!
After that headed to amk hub to have dinner with shane,jonathan and weijie.Then went to slack at some void deck b4 going home.

Saturday

Jeremy came back from China.Hes still the same...friendly,sociable,handsome....met him,Jonathan and Shane at amk hub then lunched there.After lunch, we headed to Orchard cos Shane wanted to have extension.Bought my converse shoes there also...fuckin costs me $70.After which, we went to Bugis Street to purchase my ring.Had a couple of jokes on our way to bugis. Slacked outside Burger King after buying my ring b4 going back home for dinner with family.

Sunday

Okay....woke up early to go to the temple.Had stomachache on my way so the first thing i did at the temple was not to pray but to do "business".Prayed liao then slacked for a while.Then went to meet eng mei at amk hub for movie-"all well ends well".Dunno wat to say abt the show...would say its funny lah....lol.Wanted to study also but could not do so due to lack of time.Went home after that then had reunion dinner with family.I would say that the dinner was to my liking...ate quite a lot compared to usual days.I think i gained at least 2kg after the dinner:( Played blackjack for a while after dinner b4 catching my show...dunno whats the name of the show but knew it was about mahjong de

Monday

Hurray!! CNY has arrived.I was looking forward to this day cos i can collect a lot of angpao.Haha:)

Went to my cousin's house for lunch then played blackjack.Sadly,I was not as lucky as yesterday even though i wore like angpao...haiz.Lost quite a bit...abt $10 plus if i am nt wrong.But nvr mind...whats impt is that I have enjoyed myself.Had reunion dinner after that then resumed our game.This round worst.Owed my cousin $48.Tot i had to dig out my blue note le but i was wrong.I bet $48 and won...cleared my debt woohoo!!!He owed me $3 in the end.lololol.Played till 12 plus then homed.
